As a direct result of a focused effort throughout all levels of the organization – from senior management to field personnel – and with the collaboration of our Joint H & S Committee, we have created a very robust and comprehensive Health and Safety Program.
The Program integrates Health & Safety into all parts of our operation. By systematically implementing a framework for accident prevention through regular jobsite inspections, root cause analysis of all incidents including near misses, emergency response procedures, hazard risk assessments, task analysis and operator training, our customers can be assured that the job will be accomplished in the safest and most efficient manner.
Our crews are the most competent and highly trained individuals in our industry. Some of the key components in our training program are:
- Young Worker Training and hazard awareness
- Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Confined Spare Awareness
- Confined Space Entry & Rescue
- First Aid (Minimum Level-1 to Level-3 with Transportation Endorsement)
- Fall Protection
- Certified Hydro-Excavation Training
All of our efforts in developing this program are to attain zero lost-time injuries and to make the McRae’s experience for our customers safe and productive.
